Stories and highlights
There's always something to celebrate at our school! From exciting events to proud moments and everyday wins, here are some of our highlights.
A year at our school
St George Perfoing Arts Festival
Our talented students took to the stage at the St George Performing Arts Festival, showcasing their skills and passion. The senior dance troupe delivered a dynamic performance, while our traditional Chinese dancers captivated the audience with a beautiful routine. Our senior choir also had the incredible opportunity to join the combined school's choir, creating a powerful and memorable performance for all. It was a wonderful day celebrating the arts and the dedication of our students.
Colourathon
Quarry Park burst with colour and energy for our Colourathon! Students had a fantastic time running, walking and laughing as they were showered with vibrant bursts of powdered paint. This fun-filled event wasn't just about getting messy—it was a huge success in raising funds for our school playground improvements, thanks to the incredible support from our students, families and community.
Kindergarten Ducklings
Our Kindergarten students have had a truly unique and memorable experience as part of their recent science unit! The classroom became a temporary nursery as they welcomed a special delivery of duck eggs. The children watched with excitement and anticipation, and were thrilled to witness the incredible moment the tiny ducklings hatched, bringing their science lesson to life.
Swim Scheme
Our Stage 1 students recently had an amazing time participating in the Swim Scheme! They gained confidence and new skills in the water, all while having fun in a safe and supportive setting. It was wonderful to see their excitement and progress as they took important steps towards becoming confident swimmers!
Stage 2 Opera House Excursion
Stage 2 students enjoyed attending a lively performance of The Twits at the Sydney Opera House. The engaging story and dynamic acting brought the characters to life, creating an exciting and memorable day for all.
Dance Sport Gala
Our talented Stage 3 students showcased their dance skills with confidence and flair at the recent Dance Sport Gala. It was a spectacular evening, celebrating their hard work and passion as they performed for an appreciative audience of parents, friends, and carers.
